Vermont Care Partners, a dynamic leader in healthcare and human services, announces a unique opening for a Developmental Disability Services Director. This important position provides innovative leadership to our community-based non-profit provider network on developmental disabilities in the context of state health care, service delivery and payment reform. Responsibilities include: research, analysis and advocacy on best practices program trends, public policy, regulation, payment methodologies, health care integration and legislation at the state and federal levels. The Director develops, coordinates and supports training and public education; serves as a liaison to state government; and provides support to developmental disability program directors, statewide. This is a Full-time position with competitive compensation, excellent benefits, and an opportunity to work in a creative and exciting environment. Masters degree in human services, public policy or related field preferred, and at least 2 years of experience required; preferably in program management, program and policy development or government relations. Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, analytical and teaming skills required. Resumes and letters of interest due July 17, 2017.
