Suicide: The Ripple Effect is a documentary film and movement focusing on the devastating effects of suicide
and the tremendous positive ripple effects of advocacy, inspiration, and hope. The film highlights the journey of
Kevin Hines, who at age 19 attempted to take his life by jumping from the Golden Gate Bridge. Today, Kevin is a
world-renowned mental health activist, award-winning filmmaker, author, speaker, and suicide-prevention
champion who travels the globe spreading a message of hope, education, recovery, and wellness.
In addition to Kevin’s own story, Suicide: The Ripple Effect highlights the stories of individuals and families
who are utilizing their personal tragedy to bring hope and healing to others.

This event is made possible by the Gregory S. Hillman Fund and the Nathan M. Carreira Endowment of the Stratton Community Foundation.
Thank you to the Manchester Community Library for the generous use of their space.
